When something's super stressful and it's really getting to us,
It's our emotional reaction to something that if we were looking at somebody else going through, we'd say, oh, just do this or do that.
And it's training ourselves to, over time, feel that way.
Does that resonate?
You know, I, I view all of those as healthy struggles.
And if you want to get super fit, which you are, and I think you used to play baseball, right?
But you know what that means to get there.
You have to work to get it.
This is the same thing.
You're going to the business gym.
These aren't unhealthy struggles.
We're not victims.
We actually get to do this.
And that's a mindset.
And our internal dialogue is so important.
As I think most people know, most people don't work on it the way they should, but it's so important.
So, yeah, value the struggle.
That's where we grow.
And I think our job as leaders inside businesses and as leaders in our families is to create an environment that allows for those healthy struggles at the edge of what's appropriate for each kid, family member, employee that we have.
