I think it's always upsetting when a big brand of any kind of area, whether it's personal finance, whether it's a retailer, something that we have fond memories of, disappears.

I always think it's a sad day.

And I wouldn't be surprised to hear more about this in the coming months.

But, Georgie, I think fundamentally the final word on this is it's a business decision and Lloyds can do what it wants.

I don't think it's a shame that there's not more localised banking decisions made locally rather than centralised decisions.

And, you know, a big champion of that, of course, is our Dave Fishwick, who set up Bank of Dave in Burnley.

You know, local banking decisions for local people.

And while it has been survival of the fittest in the building society kind of area, there are still some big ones.

Coventry, Skipton, for example, Leeds.

They're all sizable for the area and what they pull in and what they do and are successful at doing it.

But lots of these, you know, smaller ones have gone, have disappeared.

It is a bit of a shame.

It depends where you stand on it.

Do you care about your bank?

And that's the thing.

People often just treat their bank as money gets paid in, money gets paid out.

And as long as you don't do anything to annoy me, you stay loyal to that bank.

And that's kind of the lay of the land, I would say, at the moment.

I love the thought of a couple of English geezers on the back streets of the Azteca in the high altitude talking about this UBS report with a couple of local Mexicans.
