We've had this conversation on the podcast before.
I quite often book flights on the strength of the time of when the flight is going, having a young family there.
Flying at 10 a.m.
is so much easier than flying at 6 a.m.
when you're trying to rust with kids out of a deep slumber in the middle of the night and get your holiday off on the worst possible start.
So for all those reasons, it's not great.
I think there's going to be a boom in staycations this year.
I would imagine that a lot of people are looking at staying closer to home just because of all of this disruption.
And to be honest, last month, Georgie, I went to Sussex to celebrate my wife's 40th.
And then you're rambling around the South Downs.
We had a lovely lunch and champagne at Raffini's Winehouse.
Absolutely beautiful there.
Looked over and thought, yeah, I could do this.
And I strapped my two-year-old in on one of those baby carriers, took her for a good, like, four or five-mile walk around Alfriston and all these lovely villages around Sussex.
And I thought...
I'm not going to go abroad this year for the first time in quite a while.
I'm just going to go and unpick what there is around Britain.
I wouldn't be surprised if that's a kind of mantra that people are doing.
But I would still, if you want to go on an overseas holiday, if you want to go abroad, just make sure you're doing those three things, you know, making sure that...
You know your rights with your airline.
