It's absolutely ridiculous that people are winning this quickly.

But it's just luck of the draw, isn't it, Georgie?

You know, you've got to be in it to win it.

Uh every single bond has as much chance of winning as another bond.

Of course, if you hold the maximum amount of fifty thousand pounds, uh your odds become slimmer because you've got more bonds in the draw.

But it's a fascinating snapshot whenever we write about premium bonds uh and people saying that they've been holding onto bonds for a very long time.

I'd love to hear from people.

Either people that have held bonds for a very short amount of time and have won sizeable amounts, and or people that have actually held quite a a large sum of bonds for a long time and have held out and have actually won not much.

They are a false hope, Georgie.

But the the thing is though, I would say that you cannot put all your eggs in one basket with premium bonds.

So if you're someone that doesn't have a huge amount of uh investments or savings, I would argue that premium bonds aren't the right choice for you.

Other than um they are quite good gifts, I I believe, this is my own personal opinion, for children, because you do get aunts, uncles, grandparents that will buy children absolutely.

Absolute rubbish.

Uh and it's much better for 25 quid to go in premium bonds.

It that's just my viewpoint, you know, and it's a quite a nice way to sort of slowly build up a nice little pot in there for as uh children, you know, get a bit older.

I think that's quite a nice way of doing it rather than putting it in a faceless investment account or a savings account.

At least you know it's going into something um and it's there, you're the likelihood of winning in it very slim, but I still think it's a good thing.
