But I guarantee if you watch the tape, no other corner gave Jeremiah Smith fits like D'Angelo Pons did when they played against each other last year in the conference championship game.
He's just feisty.
And you always hear the comparison to Aaron Glenn because that's literally who he reminds you of.
He's a smaller, feisty corner that likes to mix it up in man coverage and never backs down.
So...
When you just look at some of the personnel that Darren Mooji and Aaron Glenn have brought over the last two years, you can kind of see the shift towards what Aaron Glenn wants for his defense.
He wants feisty, aggressive corners that love to mix it up in man coverage and love to be on the island because he likes to send pressure and leave his corners on the island.
He wants the ball to come out hot, and he wants guys that are going to be able to compete through the catch point.
Those two guys can do that at a high clip.
They did it in college, and now in this defense with Aaron Glenn spearheading it, it'll really highlight their skill set.
Yeah, to me, it's just about growth and consistency from him.
They brought him in for day one pass rush out because that's what he gives you from day one, EA.
Instant pass rush juice.
