And we are trying to track down a lot of the news coming out from the NFL Combine.

We know defensive backs are also speaking today.

So that's part of what is going on in Indianapolis as well.

And normally that would be the biggest story today.

Tight ends are also speaking right now at the Combine.

But instead...

The biggest news is probably what's going on in the state houses, both in Illinois and in Indiana, where we expect Senate Bill 27, the Bears stadium proposal in Indiana to pass, and where we also expect to get more information from the pilot bill, the infrastructure bill that is going on alongside what the Bears funding would be for Arlington Heights.

That meeting started at 10 o'clock this morning.

Then there's also this breaking news coming from Stephen Holder.

The Colts have given quarterback Anthony Richardson permission to seek a trade.

I mean, but at the same time, I understand why the Colts were in the position to draft him and why they did.

Yeah, from a process standpoint, it made sense.

It's just from a result standpoint, that was the risk they ran being where they were in the draft.

Was it a bear?

Because they got hurt in pregame warm-ups this year.

Stephen Holder is a great reporter, and he also had this note as well.

One observation from the Combine, the free agent market for wide receiver Alec Pierce is bigger than that of quarterback Daniel Jones.

Jones will earn more quarterback versus receiver, but there are more outside teams interested in Pierce.

This needs to be a consideration in how they navigate the franchise tag.
