And we're talking about 54 to 56 stolen bases this year, 63 runs scored,

um just a winner high school record of 131 and 24 dna as a player obviously comes from his dad dna as a person comes from both jim and andrea uh you know they're hall of fame people and and that's what landon is he's humble he's grateful he's kind

But he's tenacious, and he wants to win.

And I think there's a lot of room for growth also.

Like, there's a lot more strength in that body.

And Jim, you know, people don't know, Jim was very similar to where Landon is now when he was coming out of high school as far as size-wise.

Yeah, I don't think you can write a better script, right?

But again, we talk a lot about with Landon creating his own path and creating his own career throughout high school.

Obviously, he's always going to be under the microscope because he is Jim's son, but it's about landing now in his career, even though there are so many ties to the White Sox with Jim.

Yeah, I think we're really fortunate that the pro guys have been around our program for two years because we had a kid drafted two years ago, Cooper Melamazian, by the Brewers in the 17th round.

So Landon and Jaden got to play in front of the Scouts for that year and then Landon last year and then Landon this year.

And there are so many teams that we're interested.

Really, even that morning, like talking to Jim and Andrea and Landon, a lot of people were assuming 34 was the Landon pick.

But we weren't sure if that's how it was going to be.

And it probably not until like five to six picks before that 34th pick is when we were pretty confident that that was going to be where Landon was going to end up.

Yeah, I think that's like for the Sox to decide where he ends up.

I think I know athletically he can play anywhere.

He played second base for us the first two years in high school.

I've seen him.

We've worked him out at third.
