I'll do a trial.
But the thing is, with trials, you have to have gone through standard of care treatment.
So you would have had to have tried this, tried that, tried that, and them not work for you to be eligible to even be put forward for a trial.
So I knew I was running out of options.
I was like, I have no options here.
They're giving me a bit of radiotherapy to buy me a bit of time.
But, like, is there any trails?
Is there anything else I can do?
So she was kind of like, yeah, there's a trail at the minute, but it's closing, like, so we don't know if we're going to get to on it.
So I just said, grand, I kind of just put it to the back of my head.
And we were going ahead with the radiotherapy and I got my tattoos done for the radiotherapy and I was starting it on the Monday.
Yeah.
And I got a phone call and they were like, can you come into clinic in the morning?
And I was like, oh God, here we go again.
Like what now?
Like I genuinely thought they were going to say, we're not even going to bother with the radiotherapy.
Like that's what I had in my head, you know.
So I was sick and I was like, yeah, of course, like I would have gone in there and then if I had to.
So I went in and there was a nurse there with my consultant that I hadn't seen before, you know, and my consultant was like, we got on the trail and I was like, oh my God, like I knew this was huge because it's so hard to get on the trails.
and I just said look I'm booked in for radiotherapy on Monday so she was like yeah it's one or the other like it's either the radiotherapy or it's the trial like you can't do both and I was like the trial and she was like think about it go on I was like no where do I sign like put me on the trial so then they kind of explained you know when you're when you do go on a trial you're like a number so obviously they try and keep it as fair as possible like
