so they were like you'll be put into a computer and it'll be randomly selected what drug you get so you'll either get standard of care chemo or you'll get the trial drug
So I was like, oh my God, another hurdle to get over here now.
So I just said, how long will I be waiting?
So they were like about three weeks.
And then they were like, this is your trial nurse.
And like, she was just, she's a little daughter.
I'm absolutely obsessed with her.
Like, she actually got a maternity at the minute.
I was like, no, but anyway.
I was like okay so I said I can feel this tumor growing literally by the week and now I have to go another three weeks but they were like look I kind of said to them I know you can't tell me what to do but what do you think what would you do if you were me and my consultant was like look we can get radiotherapy down the line if we have to if you don't do this trail it's closed it's gone the option is gone like you know so I was like okay right let's do this
So I was starting it, we say, three weeks time on, we say, the Friday.
Okay.
But they were going to randomly select me on the Thursday.
So we were like, I think everyone I pray to at this stage is like, please leave me alone.
Here she is again.
Like, you know, we were just like, had everybody lighting candles and praying for this and praying for this.
I was like, please let me get the trial drug.
And then my nurse rang me on the Thursday and she was like, hi.
And I was like, hi.
She's like, you got the trial drug.
