The person who helps a franchise or set up their franchise business.
And so to me it's just that piece of they're actually helping with
setting up the business.
It's the it's the business piece of it.
It's not the sales piece of it.
Yeah, and I just I just don't think consultants to me and I've seen it like you have that consultants somehow get into the sales piece.
Um
or people who are doing the sales piece call themselves consultants.
I just don't
I don't in all of my experience put franchise consultants in that role.
I I think they should definitely go through training and um most of the clients that we have that work with brokers uh they actually have required training that the brokers they give the brokers.
Um they also, you know, prepare specifications and guidelines and you know sales compliance manuals that they give um to the brokers before they can start selling for the system.
And so
At a minimum I think the systems that are bringing brokers in should have some sort of training materials, um, high level on compliance with the the franchise sales laws and also
information about their systems in terms of
what information can be given so that misrepresentations aren't made, so that inaccurate disclosures aren't given.
In terms of
what brokers outside of that, uh, what where the training should come from.
I would love to see brokers be required to have some training.
