Hi, Alex.
Well, first up, we are headed to Las Vegas, where a verdict has been reached in the trial of Dwayne Davis, also known as Keefe D.
He's the former gang leader who was charged with the 1996 murder of rap legend Tupac Shakur.
Prosecutors told the jury that Davis masterminded the murder to get payback for his nephew and
Who had been beaten up by a group of men including Tupac.
And central to their case was Davis' own words.
Davis told investigators long ago that he was the one who had procured the murder weapon and was in the car when the shooting happened, and even wrote about it in his memoir.
Alex, before we get to the verdict, what kind of case did the defense put on?
So closing arguments happened on Monday.
Was Tupac's family in the courtroom?
And then the state was first to give their closing argument.
The prosecutor said that Davis knew details of the shooting only someone who had been there would know.
And then it was the defense's turn to get up there.
So the jurors went off to deliberate on Monday afternoon, and three hours later they were back with a verdict.
