Everything is fine.
But if you have another empty seat, maybe I could move.
No, she was like, oh, the flight is fully booked.
And because I think I was a teenager as well, I just said, okay.
I didn't argue the point.
So then I just went back to my seat.
It's about 12 hours.
And this all happened within the first few minutes of the flight.
It was a very long flight.
It was clear to me that she felt terrible and that she was still frightened.
She did not sleep a wink on that flight and neither did I. I could tell that she felt really bad.
She was still praying and
just sort of mumbling to herself quite a bit.
This poor woman, she kind of coiled in like on herself.
And once I kind of turned my back a little sideways, she did the same sort of facing out into the aisle.
So it was clear to me that she would not want more physical contact, or at least I felt that way.
She didn't seem like a threat.
No, absolute silence the whole way.
