I couldn't think of what I would say.

I thought she would apologize again.

I really did.

I thought that like when she stood up, she would say like, oh, and again, I'm so sorry.

So I had my whole little like, don't worry about it.

She feel ready.

But she really didn't.

She just she took her time.

trying to get all her things back in her purse.

And then she got up and left.

I got to boarding school.

I had this really cool story to tell that no one else would have had.

But the more I told it, sort of the more uncomfortable I got.

Because a lot of people's reactions were like, yeah, what a crazy woman.

And what was she thinking?

And

I started kind of feeling bad for her.

I kept thinking like, what would it take for me to feel that scared that I would actually bite someone?

And I had at that point never been that scared in my life.

There's a kind of almost like fondness there.
