Well, you know, in high school...
I wasn't saying I was a rapper.
I was playing sports.
But back when, you know, they used to ask kids what they wanted to be when you grow up, what you're going to be.
I never said the cliche of being like a doctor, lawyer.
I never said any of those things.
As a matter of fact, I was saying I wasn't going to have a job.
I wasn't going to work for myself.
And the only reason I know this is because I had another podcast come up last week, and I had to call the teacher that wrote a letter to help me get back in school when I got kicked out.
And she was just saying how I taught her things, taught her how to think outside the box, because I just wouldn't conform to, like, being a, you know, whatever they wanted you to be growing up.
And so I went to school.
I got into some trouble my senior year at North Clayton High School, and it deterred my route.
I was gonna go to Memphis, I was gonna go to another school, but I ended up going to Alabama State playing basketball.
And when I went full scholarship because I had the grades,
When I went, the coaches that recruited me at the time, they got fired.
So as soon as I got to the campus, the people that was just talking so much, you know, saying so many good things about me, they end up leaving.
And then another coach came in, brought in other players, and I just remember not loving basketball anymore.
And I've been playing since I was like seven.
And fast forward, I'm still, like, juking.
I'm still hustling a little bit.
