That thing of being writing every day and taking people with me, if I don't do that, I feel the whole thing is pointless.

But I think when I wrote The Atlantic, I realized that this really captured people's imagination.

You say, I'm going to row...

And then I'm going to row the Atlantic.

And it's like people know walking, but walking to Mongolia?

I mean, that's the thing.

It's just like, wow.

And then they start thinking, well, I technically could walk to Mongolia or row the Pacific.

What am I doing with my life?

Yeah.

And a lot of women come up to me after talks and say, how do I get your courage?

How do I do that thing that I want to do?

Where does it come from?

How do I bottle it?

Like as a one-off thing?

Yeah.

I think I, I reached a point now I have to row the Pacific.

The idea seeded in 2012.

I rode the Atlantic and I knew I wasn't done within hours.

I knew I'd be back doing it.
