Nice to see you guys in a difficult time.
It's been a while since I've been on.
It's the first time I've been on this platform.
So, yeah, it's good to see you.
Yeah, I wrote a column for The Guardian two years ago now, and it was something I was doing on a weekly basis.
And they asked me to do something, obviously, regarding everything that's happening at the moment, which is a really, really important cause.
And I wanted to do something a little bit different, something that hasn't been done before, and the idea to write to the U.S.
president and thank him.
for being so honest in his views.
You know, he's not politically correct.
He doesn't shy away from what he believes in.
And whether we agree with it or not, it gives us a real tangible thing to fight against if we don't agree with that, which is actually helping everybody's cause at the moment.
Yeah, I think he's already helping it without even trying, to be honest, because he is so forthright in his views.
And there is such a lack of support for the black community in America.
It's actually raising support for an issue that's really important.
And I do feel that not just the presidents in the United States, but politicians all over the world, they have a really, really clever way of saying one thing and maybe meaning another to pacify the people that they're serving.
When you're clearly honest and open...
then we can have real meaningful debate over every issue, whether it's race, whether it's politics, whether it's education.
