SO I THINK THESE AREAS THAT IF WE DON'T INTEND THOSE TO BE RESIDENTIAL ZONING, THAT SHOULDN'T BE RESIDENTIALLY ZONED.

I THINK A LOT OF THESE ARE LEFT OVER OF LARGER RESIDENTIAL ZONED AREA.

A PORTION IS BUILT AND THEN SOME LEFT OVER LAND STILL HAD THAT ZONING.

However, I think we do have a practice where we do approve a motion for direction.

I think that makes it clear and also for the member of the public it's nice to see that in the minute to go back and check OK here is a consensus that we have.

So I don't know whether the mayor has the appetite for that.

But the thing is it will not be recorded in the meeting minutes.

So for the member of the public, unless they watch the entire meeting, they will not easily tell what exactly did the council had a consensus on from a study session.

It's currently zoned a PBQ, mini store, but the land use is industrial slash residential, which is a little odd.
