Unfortunately, there really isn't a lot of memories just because I was so young.

And as my aunt said, there was a lot of traumatic things that went on.

So I feel like my brain naturally kind of blocked a lot of that part out.

One of the very few memories I have is when I went to see the Easter Bunny the first time.

We were in the mall and my mom walked me in and we were

in line and it was our turn she opened up my little crib cover how it folds up and as soon as i saw that buddy i started screaming and crying and freaking out and we had to leave no pictures happened everyone has said my whole life how you know everything that she did was really for me and for us so when i think back and i'm like

Obviously it's not my fault, but it's a big heavy weight to have knowing like she was honestly doing this for, you know, me.

Just to think about it that way is kind of hard.

Yeah, the first time I fully came to understand what had really happened with the case, obviously, I'd known that she was gone, missing, things like that.

But when I was, I'd say, about eight or nine years old, I got my first school laptop.

And I think it was when the internet was still kind of new and...

not as known as what we know now about it.

So I could kind of search up anything.

There wasn't anything that would like hold me back.

So I just started searching up like my aunt.

I'd search up my own name just for fun, trying to see what would come up.

I searched up my mom's name and that's when I started seeing all of these articles and headlines about like pimp, prostitute,

murder, sex trafficking, serial killer.

I don't want to say I fully understood, but I started to realize this was more than just she went missing or she got lost.

I really understood that she was hunted.
