And that's when I obviously started to ask like, what does this mean?
What does that mean?
It was definitely a lot at first.
It almost made me think like, is this actually like happening?
Maybe there's somebody else who just has like her same name.
So that's when I really started to look into like photos and images and
I feel like my brain didn't want to understand it.
But after going so many years with so many questions not answered, I kind of started to realize this is why the questions weren't answered for me.
This is why I wasn't told everything.
It definitely was just like a shock.
And also just feeling scared, worried, like...
How does this happen?
Like, it didn't seem real.
I was like, this can't be real.
This can't be my life.
that time i don't remember when she first went missing i really don't like besides that one memory that i just spoken about earlier i really don't have much thoughts or memories from back then i feel like i can remember more of growing up without her versus having her here with me growing up it definitely has been hard growing up just small things like when you're wanting to learn you know
hairstyles, makeup, shaving, boyfriends, things like that, like your body going through changes as you get older.
Things like in younger school times on like Mother's Day, they'd send out, you know, cards for everybody and you'd sit there and you'd make your own card and it would have things in it, you know, it'd be like, oh, mom does this, mom does that.
I think, you know, scratch off mom and write aunt or Nana and things like that.
