When I had coaching for about 10 years before I trained to be a coach, and it was hugely helpful.
But I have to say that training to be a coach, like put my levels of
observation onto a on a completely different um hierarchy i mean it is so important and and absolutely to be there with your client and this is such a learning opportunity i would i
urge anyone to do even just a fundamentals training in coaching just a weekend not to become a coach but to be able to understand what happens um within a coaching relationship because the most important thing is for the coach to be completely present with the client that is the number one thing it's like putting and and this is why my meditation comes in so absolutely
helpful because it's being able to focus and have awareness of where the client is and then being able to mirror that listening at that that listening capacity of as you say like listening to the words that they're using even their mannerisms where their eyes go where they look how they look
how they hold themselves, all information to a coach, which is then what you mirror back to them because they have no other way of seeing themselves in that direct and honest manner except by using a coach.
And then when you mirror that back to them, they go, oh.
And that's when those moments of clarity come to them.
Yeah.
And not just pain.
I mean, that's one aspect of it.
But also where there are blind spots.
Yeah.
You kind of reminded me of the way that different clients come into the coaching conversation, because I do note, you know, the best clients that I have are already ready to admit.
And that's when it can go quite quickly.
When they're not bringing any, when they're bringing their openness, their curiosity in,
and transparency and honesty into the conversation.
That's not, I mean, they're not the only people who can benefit from coaching because everyone is at a different level.
They're at a different, and they have a different pace, as you say.
And a coach has to meet their client exactly where they are, right?
