Let me tell you why I would not entertain this.

Number one.

I don't do destination weddings.

Okay.

Even my closest friends know I'm not coming to your destination wedding.

I don't care if we are blood oath, good friends.

I don't do destinations.

I don't like to leave my house.

Okay.

If you want me to come to your wedding, it either needs to be in my living room or my backyard.

or in about a five-minute drive of my dwelling, okay?

I am not the one to come to a destination wedding, so much so that even family friends have stopped inviting me to their destination weddings because I'm not gonna come, okay?

If I'm gonna use my air miles and my hard-earned money, it's gonna be to take myself on a vacation, not to come to your destination wedding, okay?

That's number one.

Number two, I don't understand these people who aren't just having a reality check with these girls, okay?

Wouldn't you sit your friend down and say, listen, honey,

It's okay that you're single.

We get it.

But do you need to throw your own wedding and put it in the New York Times, right?

People might think this is a little kooky and crazy.
