So as we sold Quest, it was like, I'm not done yet.
Okay, flash forward now.
The money in my bank account became, right?
We use our moms as our why, as our mission, get up every day.
So I pivoted.
It was no longer about the money.
It was about my mission.
Flash forward, company gets announced as a billion-dollar company.
I hadn't reached my mission.
I hadn't reached my goal.
We then sell a portion of it.
My mom was still struggling.
And it's a lovely, hefty portion.
And so as we started to develop Quest more and more, that's when we started to realize that that was amazing for people who'd already decided they were worthy enough to pick up a Quest bar instead of a Snickers bar.
So we're in our garage.
And we know that the money's about to come in.
Now, like anything, until the money hits the bank account, nothing's guaranteed.
But what about people like my mom who didn't believe she was worthy?
So we're sitting there, me and my husband, we're refreshing, refreshing his phone, right?
She doesn't pick up a quest bar because she doesn't believe that she's enough.
