By a vote of 71 to 29, the Senate has approved a package of measures that will fund the government through the end of September and a bill that will pay for the Department of Homeland Security for two weeks.
Democratic leader Chuck Schumer says the fight to reform DHS is not over.
And Schumer said Americans are hurting and scared over the tactics ICE is using.
They want it stopped.

A federal grand jury in Minnesota indicted Lemon and the others on charges of conspiracy and interfering with the First Amendment rights of worshipers during the protest at the city's church where an ICE official is a pastor.
Another round of winter weather set to impact the East Coast, with the Carolinas and Virginia expected to feel the biggest impact.
