He was charged with two counts of battery after an assault outside a bar during Mardi Gras, where witnesses say he yelled homophobic slurs and hit multiple people at the bar near the French Quarter.

He's not yet entered a plea.

The president going on to say one of the great things about the State of the Union address is how it gives Americans the chance to see what their representatives really believe and asked members to stand up if they agreed with the statement
