Authorities say Ghazali was armed with a rifle and drove his vehicle into the synagogue.
The vehicle caught fire.
He was shot and killed by private security.
The FBI says the incident is a targeted attack against the Jewish community.
And the FBI says ROTC students subdued and killed the gunman who yelled Allahu Akbar that opened fire in their classroom at Old Dominion University this afternoon.
Their professor was killed.
Fox's Kevin Cork, the suspect, Mohammed Baylor Jalloh, was a former member of the National Guard who pled guilty in 2016 to attempting to provide material support to ISIS.
He'd been sentenced to 11 years in prison, but was released from federal custody in December.
