But I was born with a heart condition that they didn't know I was going to be born with.

I was immediately taken to Cork University Hospital and then I was flown to Our Ladies in Crumlin that night.

And I had my first open heart surgery at six weeks old where

Cromlin was my first home, we'll say.

And then I came home and I was a few months old and I had a pretty uneventful cardiac history life.

I was treated no different.

I used to be wondering, like I used to play football and I used to be wondering, like, why can't I run laps like this?

I used to think I was all lazy, but I was actually totally breathless.

Like my heart wouldn't have been capable of that.

I know that now as an adult.

But at the time it was like, you know, you had your surgery and I'll get up and get on with it and treated no different.

So, yeah, that was kind of my upbringing.

I was the eldest of two, but we have a very big extended family, like, you know, six or seven cousins and all this kind of crack in the family and all kind of brought up together around North Kerry and went to the national school beside us in Ballagrassig and then went to the secondary school, which is Corsair Comprehensive, which is all the kind of rural villages around would go to that school.

Again, a very, very GA orientated school.

How did you get discovered or how did you start modelling?

There was actually a lady in the next village over in Causeway and she had a knitwear company and Caroline Leahy and she just got me to do her photos, you know, for her album and whatever.

And then I started doing shows and then you got asked by a lot of other people to do shows.

And then I eventually got an agency when I was in Cork.

When I went to college in Cork, I got with Elusive Agency.
