Mothers are amazing.
So when my youngest was about two and a half, three, he was a really great baby.
The fourth lad was a great baby.
Third lad broke my heart for three years.
But...
I should have been at a stage where they were all like they were really good sleepers.
So I shouldn't have been as exhausted as I was.
I know I was really busy with children, but like there was unexplained exhaustion.
There was unexplained shortness of breath, things like that.
And I always went to the matter for my yearly checkups and the yearly checkups.
They said, oh, I think we need a little bit of investigation.
Your heart on one side looks a little bit more enlarged than it normally does.
So I would have had a systolic murmur.
It's a different kind of a murmur that
nearly everyone has a murmur but murmurs are not a bother but you can have different types of ones and things like that and everything was kind of disintegrating kind of thing and I had to do all these like tests and cat labs and all this and they rang me Christmas week and said really bad news actually no they brought me in they brought me in to tell me that they brought me into the room and they were like oh we have a bit of bad news that valve needs to be changed
And it's like, OK, what do you mean changed?
And they were like, we need to take it out and put in a new one and it will be mechanical or it will be animal valve.
And we have to decide on all that and how we're going to do it.
But don't worry, it won't be open heart surgery.
It'll be because that's very barbaric.
