No, my oldest definitely knew because he said to me, and he was six or seven, I'd say at the time, and he was like, mommy, don't worry.
He was like, you think you're going to die, but you're not going to die.
He knew that's what I was thinking kind of thing.
My other two, my middle two, the absolute creatures, they suffered.
I sometimes can't even say it because I'll start crying.
But they used to run into the room to me and be like bawling, crying.
They'd be like, mommy, mommy, how old will I be when you die?
you know they just couldn't go to sleep because they thought that I was next time now she's gonna die and then the baby sure he was three he probably thought I broke my leg or something he didn't know about it he was running around after a ball oh the poor boys yeah I had to put them into play therapy yeah
And I think it has affected one of them to this day.
He's very anxious.
Oh, the poor boys.
He's always looking after mummy and daddy.
He's one of the middle boys.
And he would be bringing us tea and he'd always come over.
He'd give me a rub every evening and always just making sure we were okay.
And I feel horrible for that, that he might have got that from that experience.
I think I see me in him so much.
