My parents weren't up there with me in hospital.
They used to just come and visit every now and again, get the train up and see me and come back again.
And then I was basically a newborn.

Yeah but you know what I think they didn't have the information at the time that we have now and there was no internet or no nothing like that so they were only being drip fed little pieces I think they thought when I came out of hospital that was it I was going to be fixed and like it didn't realise this is a lifelong condition I will have this till the day I die like I've had open heart surgery again I will need more again you know this is something that I will take to the grave at me but I think they thought that
that was it you know and um she's fixed now and even to this stage you love being on your own even though i know you're a mad busy house yes i love my own company i love like i moved to this i broke come out of a nine-year relationship went on um a holiday to the states absolutely loved it my friend went home i stayed loved it got my own apartment got the on my own thing and
and even to this day she still lives one of my best friends still lives in the States I go back to her every September on a little solar trip every year once the kids are back in school I go to her for a week and I always tell her don't take any days off work nothing I'm going to I go into the city on my own the headphones on love my own do my own thing
nobody annoying me nobody like my life is up to 90 like I had four babies in four years so I had four under four all boys so like climbing on top of me getting belt of hurleys and you know slitters and all this so it's just mayhem so I do love my own you love coming down here so on your own today oh this is like you know a day out this is like a holiday

So they left school and I remember like even they were doing their leaving cert and I was doing my junior cert and one of them came to the door of the car that I was in waiting for... We were waiting for my friend's brother because he was driving, he was in his leaving cert.
He was driving us home after the exams and she came to the door like...
with eggs, you know, to egg me.
And her mother was parked across the way watching.
So this is what you had to facilitate and like, this is what you were dealing with.
And like the all around, like waiting for me to pull down the window, you know, so they could egg me.
I was like, I just wouldn't give them such.
And I remember then after that, like my father happened to bring me to like the exams afterwards.
