She won Miss Ireland World.

So she would go to Miss World and I won Miss Ireland Universe.

So the competition at the time was on the same night two girls were picked.

Now it's two separate competitions, as far as I'm aware.

So, yeah, I went to, I won the Miss Kerry, then went to that.

That was like a three day thing, a three day Miss Ireland in Limerick and then won that there and then exploded after that.

Where was it held?

in Central America, in Puerto Rico.

I went, so I was going over in the May and my, I had a boyfriend at the time, my ex, and he was in with the Kerry team and they had a game about eight weeks before we went to the Miss Universe.

And after the game, there was a celebration, whatever, and I broke my foot.

I had a cast on.

I'll never forget, I was living in Cork and I had a cast on.

I remember I had to go downtown and take like photo shoots with the cast on.

And the big thing was, was the cast going to be off?

I forgot all this actually on my other podcast.

I was only thinking of it the other day.

I was like, do you remember the time I broke my foot a few weeks before going to Miss Universe?

And I was like, you will just have to cut it off me no matter what.

I have to get on that plane like with the cast off.

But that was the lead up to it.
