I kind of find that it all balances out.
But if it's a bugbear of yours, opt out of it at the start.
Just be like, I'm just going to do my own thing, because predominantly most people in the group will go into and just pay together.
And then like every Irish group, you'll get the split.
You'll get the split.
You'll get it back.
You'll get it back in spades.
Someone will give you a lift home from the airport.
Definitely speak your mind before you go within, like, I'd like to do this when we get there.
Nobody minds things like that.
And everybody's like, well, actually, I didn't even know that they did that there.
And definitely have an agenda and a schedule for, and I'm not talking about a militant wake.
But do definitely decide what you want from where you're going with and see about food and drinking and anything that you might need to book in advance because you don't want to get there, be walking around, have nothing planned, everything's booked out and then the trip just doesn't really go to plan.
So definitely a little bit of forward planning is essential to a group trip, not so much for a solo trip because you can always just fight with yourself.
and be mad at yourself if you're there on your own.
