I think at the end of the day, beneath it all, he thought they were going to get back together and he was going to break up with me after Christmas.
Because it was like a week before Christmas and he said, I didn't want to tell you about it because I thought it would ruin your Christmas.
He also said on the phone while he was crying that the reason he was so upset was because it was clear that she'd come and she didn't want anything.
But it was quite nice for me because I really wasn't very bothered and I realized actually it had been quite a high stress situation that hadn't really made my life better.
And then I was single properly in January.
