we i actually had an experience a couple years ago yeah at a fashion week event and they were like okay like we're gonna take pictures in front of this thing and like one by one they went up and i was like okay like i'll be next and then the photographer was like just walked away after the two and i was like okay totally yeah love that thank you

I really appreciate that.

Well, I went to Berklee College of Music in Boston for two years and then COVID happened while I was there.

So I dropped out after two years and then I started posting covers on Instagram.

and I was like targeting people I was like okay I want to cover this artist so that they'll notice me and then it like usually worked so that's how I like was building a fan base on Instagram and then I put my first album out and then I started posting on TikTok and then yeah it just kept going what was the song that really like would you say was like that was the one that really took off for you

on tiktok or just like in general just in general i guess was it pancakes for dinner no there was a i wrote a song it is not released and it will never be released um it's called you ruined the 1975 and i posted it on tiktok and it like really went super viral randomly and i still get comments about it really like wait i didn't even know that she sang that song it was like a pandemic thing yeah and uh yeah but then like

I don't even know if Pancakes for Dinner really had that big of a moment, but then Ceilings was like the big one.

You're like your big, big one.

The big one, yeah.

i had no idea i mean i had released five seconds flat like i think it was like a at least a year maybe like at least like eight nine months after the album had come out that ceilings like went viral yeah so like i wasn't expecting it it wasn't a single like it wasn't it was just like kind of a deep cut of the album and i wasn't really expecting that one to be the one that like went viral but it was insane i mean it was so cool and like

It really opened so many doors for me and allowed me to be doing what I'm doing today.

It's so insane.

Yeah, it's usually like I can't force it.

So if I try and sit down and write when I don't have like an idea or anything, it's not going to happen.

Yeah.

So I just kind of have to wait.
