Like this for him, it just happens to be the game wardens are at the crosshairs of this thing.
And he's like, if there was a, if there was a DEA agent who was using open fields doctrine to do something with a drug bust, I would litigate that.
Cause I think the fourth amendment is so important.
And so he doesn't have a bone to pick with hunters or game wardens.
These are just the situations that are arising.

I think one other piece he raised that was interesting is the difference between state and federal enforcement.
Sure.
Because of the Supremacy Clause, the Constitution, the Fourth Amendment, when federal officers are enforcing federal statutes, they can still use open fields throughout the U.S., but state officers cannot, unless they're cross-deputized, and that is another thing that's going to get real muddy here now.
