I've been doing the show for quite some time with you, Matt, and you find different ways to reveal to the nation that I'm very uncool and never go to anything like electrophicnic or anything like that.
So it's novel the way you find new ways to expose me.
Um look, it it's quite obvious what happens in these situations where there's almost clearly a social permission in that if everybody else is leaving their tent, well then you you can leave it as well.
And look, that's been shown study after study, where if you're in an environment where somebody else litters and it's not a clean environment, you're sixty, seventy percent more likely
To litter yourself.
So so that's what happens.
But it does speak to that wider issue, which is that everything in many ways is too disposable and and and too cheap.
There's a book um called Um Less, which is about how we it's basically about fast fashion, but also kind of everything now is so is built so badly and becomes kind of disposable that we don't um use it enough.
And he makes the argument in that book that particularly for men, if you're not going to wear something a
hundred times you shouldn't buy it.
Yes.
Yes.
So if it's not going to be wearable over a hundred times, you shouldn't be buying that that piece and actually you're much better off waiting and investing and doing it.
And it seems like tents is probably the same thing.
If you're only going to spend a hundred quid on on the tent, which is still a lot of money, but people seem to be more willing to just leave that behind them.
The tent.
Mm-hmm.
And they obviously know going in, they're going to leave it behind them.
So I understand it was raining.
But you know it's Ireland, it's September, it's E P it's always raining.
