This is a really important point.
I think Andy will be a better, I hope and I expect him to be a better explainer in chief of what's going on.
We haven't really had public explanation.
For example, the fact that we are borrowing in order to pay back old borrowing because of COVID, a decision we all supported across parties.
Why aren't we explaining that in public much, much more?
I think Andy will be a better sort of narrative giver.
It was a weakness of Keir Starmer's, let's be honest.
I think he'll be much better at that.
But you've got to explain and then respond rather than just explain.
I'm sure there are.
And in a way, I think, as with Boris, actually, obviously, I wasn't a fan of Boris politically, but I think that you don't really know the full character of someone until they get the job.
Even with Gordon Brown, who I'd worked with for seven years, it's a different kind of challenge, the range, the incessantness.
And it's way worse than it was when I worked with Gordon Brown in Number 10, of course, because of the change in the way the media works and social media in particular.
So we just don't know the answer to that.
I think you've got to have confidence.
You've got to play to your strengths.
You've got people around who compensate for the things you know as the boss you don't have.
I mean, a prime minister who knows what they don't know and who has the courage to have people around them who can plug gaps for them, both on style, substance and other things, is really crucial.
And I actually think Andy's good at that.
He knows his limits on certain things and he knows...
