Um, it's funny.

I, you know, made it through the rounds to get to the judges cause there are many different rounds.

Um, well I actually won a local talent show and the, the, um, prize was to be the first to audition in the stadium for American Idol cause it's a huge long like cattle call type of,

line to audition.

So I won that show.

And, and then got to audition for American Idol.

Yeah, I went through all the preliminary rounds.

And then I got to the judges.

And yeah, they just weren't really overwhelmed with me.

I don't know if it's because I was kind of cagey about any sort of story.

I was very private.

I'm still very private.

And

Um, but they said they didn't really like my song choice.

And Simon said something like, I should be on a cruise ship or something like that.

But it definitely crushed me.

Because I had been wanting to audition for American Idol since I was 15 or just when the show came out.

But my parents said I was too young.

So I was like, I'm 18, I'm ready and I'm going on this show.

And yeah, it was it was hard.
