As just kind of like a gift to my fans that have followed from the beginning.
So...
that's really special because I feel like I was able to put my own creative spin on it.
So it's almost pulling from like the seventies and disco era, because I feel like if I'm going to be singing those songs for the rest of my career, I wanted to put my stamp on them.
Um, but after that is a project that I'm so excited for that I feel like really represents me as an artist.
And that will be coming later this year.
Yeah, I did put my own version of Never Enough out earlier this year because contractually, I know some people were like, why are you putting out Never Enough seven years after the movie came out?
But contractually, I could not do that.
So I knew that my version needed to exist.
Yeah.
But yeah, I was able to sing it as me and not as Rebecca Ferguson.
It's a totally different experience, I think, because I was singing it as Jenny Lind the first time, and now I'm singing it as me and riffing all over it, and I think the production is very different.
But yeah, for these other collection of songs, which it's... And they're also duets with some of my favorite singers, so Come Alive with Scott Hoying, Rewrite the Stars with Vincent...
Wow.
Who, if you don't know, now you know.
A Million Dreams with Regine Velasquez, who is like the Celine Dion of the Philippines.
Legendary.
And then Tightrope as a solo, but potentially a duet with a surprise feature.
So, yeah, being able to put my own creative spin on those songs with producer Dan Edinburgh, who's also a legend, is really, really rewarding because...
It's just totally different than the soundtrack, but the way that they wrote the songs are so classic that you can do anything with them.
