And look, I think there's a couple of things to bear out of this, right?
Yvonne, obviously, this week came out and called for a kind of pact around the by-election for the Shannon seat and Holly's reaction.
So Ivana Bacik contacted Holly Cairns and the Green Party, Roderick O'Gorman, in relation to having an initial conversation around a potential shared candidate for the by-election seat.
In the first instance, which would then broaden out to a wider conversation with other parties of the left, but that the shared values really are between those three parties as far as she's concerned.
But has also said that we should be on a lighter kind of vote left, transfer left pact rather than a shared platform or a shared candidate.
And look, I can understand Holly's reaction to this.
And in the polls, you can see that they're increasing.
So, you know, it would be really unusual, I suppose, for her maybe to try and argue that they should take a backseat or join the party.
a political pact around a by-election for a SeΓ‘nidh seat, which, by the way, it's impossible for any opposition party to win that seat, really.
That is going to be a government seat, but that's besides the point.
I think the difficulty is that if the Sockdowns didn't come out saying what they're saying now, if they didn't have that level of ambition now, when were they going to have that level of ambition?
So I think that is an important point to note.
On the Sinn FΓ©in point, and whether Ivana should have included them or not,
Like, I think there is a wider conversation to have around policy.
And if we're looking specifically at policy, Sinn FΓ©in do not have the same level of left wing policies as SOC Dems and Labour would have.
