So trying to make sure we have as many people at work as possible.

Absolutely and and here I I'm not gonna be somebody who like there's always um discussion around uh inheritance taxes and all of those kind of things and how is that a uh a wealth tax or not and and so on.

Um I I do believe we should be taxing inheritance, but again that's back to trying to uh balance that social contract um a a a bit for people.

Um I think when it comes to the idea of youth funding uh elderly and uh

And older services and so on.

You know, I I I don't necessarily think that that's something we should tap into too much.

I do think if people were paying taxes um and getting benefit out of the services that they need for those taxes, then that wouldn't be an issue.

Take childcare, for example, I think that's a really important one for young for a young people.

Take childcare for example.

Yeah, exactly.

And everybody else who who has the entitlement to to free travel under it, I absolutely would not free, let's just accept it's not free.

I exactly and I am, and you are, and all of us in terms of paying our taxes for it absolutely are.

But for elderly like there's an awful lot of of of benefits to it.

And actually, do you know, we remember I remember sitting in this studio maybe two or three years ago when uh we were talking about elderly pensioners getting on the bus and riding the bus for the day 'cause they couldn't afford to eat their houses.

So, you know, like there there's broad shocks on all of these things.

But you're not agreeing with Dan.

I think that's across the board, do you know?

Um and I do think that that is something that we should provide.

But I do think where we need to look at is how we there is waste m waste in money and I think that or waste in in public services and spending.

And I do think that that uh there uh this shift that we've seen in people wanting to see investment in services versus tax cuts come from people not having trust and belief in that the system will deliver.
