Just a couple of points here.

Got to tip my hat off to Corbin because, you know, talk about a guy who didn't have a job just a couple of weeks ago, and he's given the Blue Jays, you know, some great innings so far.

Also, this lineup doesn't look the same when Straw and Heinemann aren't in it.

I really liked what they did yesterday with, you know, Straw getting on and Heinemann bunting him over and then Lucas driving them in.

I think they scored two runs like that yesterday.

I checked some stats and Straw is like before tonight's game was leading the team and runs scored.

I think he had 11.

He was actually second at batting average OPS.

slugging percentage, on-base percentage.

I don't want him out of the lineup.

He's always trying to get something done, whether it's drop a bunt, steal a base, hit a sack fly, you know, or a key base hit.

So I like him in there, stick him in there as long as the other guys don't come back from injuries.

And concerning Hoffman, I mean,

I don't think the manager's doing him any services right now.

I think, you know, on Monday when Gosman came out, he was up 8-0, and I think it was 10-1 at some point.

Those were some perfect innings to throw him out there, let him figure out some stuff in a situation where he can give up a couple of runs and it's not the end of the world because right now we're not really helping him, throwing him back out into the fire in a situation that clearly he's not really comfortable in right now.
