So it doesn't matter if it's at the grocery store like we've talked about, if it's in line waiting to pay for gas, whatever it is, people want to talk about the Oilers because that's their team and they want to know what's going on.
And, you know, there's been a lot of conversations that have gone on and things that have happened here since then.

People are wondering what's going to happen with this team, and they still do.
I don't think they go down the road they've gone down and have the league investigate the way they did and clear him the way they did if they weren't going to sign him, if they weren't going to bring him on board.
I mean, that's the only reason that that would have been done, in my opinion.
And, yeah, it looks like he will be announcing the coach here next week.
I mean, that's what everybody believes is going to happen.
Is it important that the players signed off on him?
Absolutely, I think it is.
There's a couple reasons for me why that's important.
Number one, the conversations that happened, they obviously liked what they heard.
We know Zach Hyman's had history with Mike Batcock in Toronto, so he knows him.
He's played for him.
That was a pretty good team in Toronto, too, by the way, that lost to Boston.
Some 74 kids scored the game winner in that game seven the first year they played each other.
And there was a really good Leafs team that, you know, if they get by Boston that first round, I think they could have done some real damage that year.
But that's important.
