Yeah, you know what?
It's been quite the ride and quite the journey to watch him grow and just become the player that he is, but some nights when he's got that puck on his string, you just know it's going to be a difficult proposition for anybody trying to defend against him, and
I think he's had a few of those games actually in the last little while where he was creating a ton, but the puck just wasn't going his way.
He got a few bounces last night.
And rightfully so.
That's how you create your bounces.
You continue to go back to the drawing board.
You continue to do those things.
And I was talking with some people in the press box after the second intermission.
He had five points going into the third period.
you know, because of circumstances last night, I think they kind of sat back a little bit more.
They didn't challenge as much.
They knew they had a three goal lead.
They were closing it out, changing goaltenders.
Dickinson goes down with an injury.
He could have certainly ratcheted up.
He had a couple opportunities.
You could just tell he wasn't quite going as offensive as he was in the first two periods.
And that just goes to show you, you know, he just has an understanding of what's going on and what he needs to do.
