Um, Nugent Hopkins, I thought, you know, with Dreisaitl being out of the lineup, I thought Nugent Hopkins, you saw him with Roswell, Dick, you saw him with Hyman.

That wasn't a bad line.

Todd Coleson was there as well.

Um, who could play on that line.

Kaepernick's had a chance on the right side.

I even considered the notion of playing Dreisaitl with McDavid.

I did, uh, because they're deeper, you know, the deeper this team gets, the more likely that option becomes for Edmonton.

where you can really load up that top line and make it just a formidable line where it's good luck.

Now, they're both great.

They've played apart from each other more this year, I think, than any year that I can remember.

So it does give you options in that regard, too, to slot Leon right back into the two-hole.

There's been some opportunity here with Dreisaitl out for them to try different wingers with Connor McDavid to kind of throw around some different players.

Savoy's done a great job up with him.

I think Todd Coles has done a great job up there with him.

For me, if you were to separate that top line a little bit and spread the wealth out a little bit deeper down the lineup, to me, that just makes you a harder team to play against.

It's a harder matchup team to play against.

But I think Chris Knobloch and the coaching staff has probably had a lot of those conversations already.

But it's a big if.
