It just didn't happen, and
We saw the same type of game at the first game of the five-game win streak in Utah two weeks ago.
That was a game where they gave up three shots.
It was the same shot total after the first period in both the games in Utah and the game last night against the San Jose Sharks, 8-3.
And when you hold a team to three shots in one period and four shots in another period, that's just... I'll tell you, that takes the wind right out of your sails.
And that's what it looked like happened to the San Jose Sharks.
So if you're willing to buckle down, I think this team, the reason they've had two...
to the cup final.
They have overwhelming offense.
They do.
They have the best player in the game.
They have great combinations.
They have a four-time 50-goal score, a potential 100-point defenseman here in Evan Bouchard.
He just broke the 90-point barrier for the first time since the 80s.
I mean, Paul Coffey's the only other defenseman that's done it.
He's done it five times back in the 80s, five Stanley Cups in the seven years, and he wasn't even a part of all those.
I mean, he was ripping it up when he first came in the league.
And, you know, the most offensive defenseman in the game.
There's some wonderful things that are happening here with this team in the last four or five years, and it continues to grow.
