You know, it doesn't have to be great literature to make a big difference.

You know, there's sort of more literary writing, but it just has to be clear and understandable, you know.

Do you have a whole cohesive big idea?

Even if you do, it's a good idea to write an article or a chapter or something and send it out because you're more likely to get an agent and a publisher if they've seen something and they want more of it.

Um, if you really don't know how to write, I actually sometimes um quote Eric in in my talks on this because you years ago said something about like in doing the um

The initial JerryPal, you know, sort of just blogging.

That was you would do it.

I don't remember what you said, like after Kai was asleep and you would work on it.

And that was how you learned to write by doing it.

So it is called a practice, much like medicine.

Um, and so you can get good, but you can always get better.

And practicing in different forms and styles is, you know, fun and interesting.

And if you're nervous, um, like Alex, your thing where you were writing those those like sort of case pieces for the New England Journal and you worked with tons of other people.

There's so many good ideas for how to get yourself out there.

If you if something makes you angry, if something is so wonderful and when you tell everybody the story, they're like, wow.

people will have the same reaction.

It'll be fun.

Yeah.

That's how you really should, because it you know, your odds at the New England Journal are better than at most newspapers by by you know exponential factors, just given the numbers of submissions.
