I'm not sure how many of us do go into an interaction and communicate with people assuming they have good intentions, that we can trust them.
I think in this day and age, sometimes we do assume a little bit more bad faith.
We presume that before we've even begun.
And that makes, of course, a constructive conversation impossible.
It's just a really nice thing to think about.
