Certainly has.
He is the surest politician I've ever come across of what he thinks and what he knows needs to be done.
And there's this concept or this narrative that's gripped hold of some in the Westminster lobby that he's unprepared or inexperienced because he's been away from Westminster for the last nine years.
That couldn't be further from the truth because he has spent that time thinking very deeply about how the country is run, what
holds regions like Greater Manchester and therefore most regions and the devolved nations of this country back and he has got very, very clear ideas and a plan to put that right.
Reality's kicking it.
Oh, it certainly does.
Yeah, it is incredibly daunting.
But Andy gives me confidence in those talks and in every conversation I've had that his priorities and a sense, but also his plan for what he wants to do is so clear.
There is barely a domestic policy area that he has not had responsibility for because Greater Manchester is such a large, devolved area.
It's got so many powers and so many responsibilities.

So he's had experience in nearly every area.
More experience than any any normal cabinet minister would have in preparing for a job.
So
I I I I I don't think I am breaking any state secrets to say I know Andy has been thinking and and has had his ambition.
His ambitions have been clear for some time.
Yes, I I believe so.
And of course he's run for leader twice before.
So this is hopefully touch with third time third time lucky.
