And there's that famous quote, I can't remember who the actress was, who said, I am so much more intelligent in Spanish than I am in English.

And that is such a frustration, isn't it?

Isn't that bizarre?

I find that absolutely fascinating because we're both living outside of our home country, which is the UK.

And I think we've both been out for many years.

And you do, you take on a different personality.

I think just living in a different country and a different culture.

When I go back to the UK, I am a lot more, I'm not an extrovert, but I am more extroverted in my home country than I am in Germany because I make jokes, which my daughter tells me are not funny.

But they're funny to me.

Yeah, we have such an advantage being native English speakers, I think.

that we aren't really aware of.

Maybe you and I, having lived outside of the UK for many years, are a little bit more aware than some people.

But what I also noticed, because as you said, I'm in Germany, and I also taught here in Germany, taught English, mainly within pharma and biotech companies, actually, for about 25 years.
