I think a lot of people, and I'm going to say women more than men, but I might be completely wrong.
I think we accept things just the way it is.
I can't change my team.
I can't change the attitude of the other people.
I can't change myself.
It's just the way I am.
This acceptance, when we accept it, we don't believe we can change.
And I think that in itself is exhausting.
Yeah.
It's interesting because there are so many different ways of working with this, aren't there?
Sometimes in a first preliminary call, we sometimes call it discovery call, sales call, when we first have a first contact with a possible client, people sometimes ask, what do you do?
How do you help?
And I think it's a very interesting question.
People obviously want to know what's going to happen in a session.
And it is so difficult to answer because every person is unique.
And we're interacting with people in real time, reacting to whatever they give us.
If your client's anything like mine, I presume there's not a big difference.
Even the client doesn't know before we come into a session what's going to come up for them.
I think in my clients, often things surprising suddenly come up.
They will find themselves saying something and turn to me and say, I have no idea where that came from.
