So I want to go back to something you mentioned before when we talked about your career and your singing.

And you said because meetings are a performance, which I would like to touch on because a lot of people don't like the idea or I think there's a negative feeling

association with acting as in i don't want to put on an act i want to be able to we need to be authentic where would you say the line is between life is a performance to a certain extent but we need to be authentic and not put on an act well you should always be authentic but if you're being yourself that's still a performance

Yeah.

So as an introvert, there's a different part of you which is

performing or taking centre stage.

So if we think of, this is how I think of it, but there's different, I have different parts of my personality, of who I am.

All of them are authentically me, but they have different characteristics.

So the me that would be reading a bedtime story to my daughter when she was little would have been a different me to the me who was teaching or who was maybe defending her

if she was being bullied by another child.

Is this sort of connected with how you see performing?

Yeah.

Yes, I think it's protective.

And I'm not saying this against you or with you particularly in mind, Susan, but I think we put on a protective shield.

For example, when I was teaching a lot and I was going around in pre-COVID when I was going, having to travel to locations and I would go into some of the large headquarters in Munich, places like Munich Re, Allianz, some of the big ones here.

And they're quite big in BMW as well.

Some of the big imposing offices.

And

As an English teacher in my, what was I then, in my 20s, that could be quite intimidating.

So I dress the part.
